Festivalet celebrates a decade of carefully curated craft fairs with its annual event at Museu Marítim’s elegant Marqués de Comillas hall. Coinciding with the pre-holidays shopping fever, Festivalet offers thousands of visitors the chance to meet local labels in person, whose produce is invariably imaginative, original and fairly traded.
The decoration of the space is second to none, with pastel neon lights and balloons abound. Stalls include product design, informal food to take away or eat in, publications and material to make your own ideas come to life. Lines form quickly at this popular market, but a professional’s pass is available if you want to peruse the stalls before the crowds arrive from 10am to 11am either day and take home a complimentary tote bag.
