La Primavera del Cava 2026
By Charlotte Stace

La Primavera del Cava is a great excuse to get out of the city and into wine country. The annual festival returns with a month of wine tourism experiences spread across 16 cava wineries, inviting you to experience spring through vineyards, cellar doors and plenty of tastings.
This year’s programme includes walks with tastings, rustic breakfasts, brunches, food pairings with tapas, chocolate, cheese and oysters, concerts and gastronomic dinners. The participating wineries include Codorníu, Vilarnau, Rovellats, Sumarroca, Covides, Masia Torreblanca, Joan Segura Pujadas and Giró del Gorner, among others.
And you don’t have to be a wine snob to enjoy it - it’s less about formal wine seriousness and more about taking in the landscape, the season and the producers behind the bottles. If you like cava, countryside escapes and discovering new flavours, then this one’s for you.
