Món Llibre 2026
By Charlotte Stace

Món Llibre is a big literary playground for children and families, turning reading into something active and full of discovery. Rather than treating books as quiet objects, the festival invites young readers to touch, listen, make, move, ask questions and get involved.
The programme mixes storytelling, illustration, theatre, music, workshops, games and reading spaces, with books spilling off the page into performances, installations and creative experiments. This edition also features a central exhibition by Milimbo, the Valencia-based graphic studio known for making books to play with and games to read.
There are activities for little ones, older children and teens, plus spaces designed to help families, teachers and book lovers discover new titles. Món Llibre is a reminder that children’s literature is not just about learning to read, but learning to imagine.
