On Friday, January 26th, the Guzzo restaurant and lounge bar welcomes DJ Tim Garcia, founder of music platform Música Macondo. Macondo is the name of the fictional Colombian town in García Márquez’s One Hundred Years of Solitude – Garcia takes inspiration in the novel’s magical realism, aiming to inject a bit of musical magic into our daily lives. Garcia has a weekly show on UK national radio station Jazz FM and regularly plays across the UK. Join him for an intimate set where he’ll be playing jazz, Latin, music from the African diaspora, soul, funk, rare groove and more.
