Posidonia Green Festival 2024

The Posidonia Green Festival comes to the Museu Maritim this weekend. An “eco-festival” that merges art and nature, it provides a space where music, cinema, photography and performing arts merge with science and education with the aim of spreading knowledge and good practices about protecting our planet.
The event is specifically designed to follow the principles of environmental sustainability and educate people about this important issue. To that end, it focuses on a number of environmental issues such as: the elimination of plastics, waste collection systems, renewable energies, the promotion of sustainable public transport, sustainable food production, and the reduction of paper consumption, amongst others.
For two full days, there’ll be a series of workshops, talks, screenings, live music and other activities for the whole family to enjoy. If you’re passionate about art, nature and the environment, then this is one event to put in your calendar.
