Festa de la Ciència returns as one of the biggest citywide celebrations of curiosity, turning science into something interactive, social and fun. Organised by the city council, the festival brings together games, experiments, workshops, performances, storytelling, exhibitions and more, with the aim of making scientific and technological knowledge feel open to everyone rather than locked away in labs.

This year’s 19th edition once again promises a huge programme, with more than 150 activities spread across 30 spaces. It’ll lean into a range of key themes, including citizen science, archaeology, women in science, and even a dedicated quantum space, alongside a clue-based game called “Descubre el enigma” that adds a playful layer to the whole thing.

This is science presented as something to explore, question and play with - ideal for the whole family. Check out the full programme of activities online.
