Share Festival
By Aimee Lawrence
Music brings people together and festivals are a hub for spreading positive messages to advance change to make our planet a better place.
Barcelona’s inaugural Share Festival is guaranteed to set a new standard as the first music and solidarity festival in the city. Climate change, human rights, gender equality and refugee reception are some of the key issues set to be tackled by festivalgoers. The new format offers the possibility to bag free tickets by fulfilling solidary actions which can be done via the app through a simple click, sharing content on social media and signing online petitions.
On the bill from Colombia are four-piece band Morat and singer and composer Sebastián Yatra; Spain is represented by multi-talented artist Abraham Mateo plus twin brothers Jesus and Daniel Oviedo Morilla as Gemeliers; hailing from Barcelona are singer-songwriter Álvaro Soler and singer Alfred García; and sure to draw the masses is British popstar Rita Ora.
