Vermut y Salsa
By Charlotte Stace

Vermut y Salsa is Laietana Cultural’s Sunday “vermuteo” session. It’s a midday hangout that combines a salsa workshop with an easy social atmosphere - part dance class, part aperitif plan.
In Barcelona, vermut is the classic Sunday aperitif: an aromatised, fortified wine served over ice (often with citrus and an olive), sipped before lunch. It’s social, unhurried, and basically an excuse to linger, snack and chat.
The format of this event is simple: vermut + salsa each Sunday. The ticket is €10 with a drink included, alongside music and the venue’s cultural/art vibe. So if you want something that’s social but not nightlife, this nails it: you leave with a few salsa basics and a small buzz from the vermut - plus you still have the rest of Sunday free.
