Yndling
By Kit Macdonald

Beloved dream-pop influences such as Mazzy Star, Beach House, Men I Trust and Cocteau Twins are channelled and beautifully built upon by the Norwegian artist Silje Espevik, aka Yndling. Based in Oslo, Espevik crafts songs that drift between airy synths, soft guitar textures, and hushed, emotionally rich vocals, leaving a sense of both calm and vulnerability.
Yndling’s sound blends elements of indie pop, ambient, and alternative folk, creating a minimalist aesthetic that feels spacious rather than sparse. Her songs grow through subtle layers and mood, making them perfect for late-night listening, introspective moments and intimate gig spaces such as Sala Vol. Doors are at 7.40pm, support act M Train is on at 8.10pm and Yndling kicks off at 9pm.
