Agnes Vilchez, aka Mayvi, was born in 2007 in Barcelona but is currently based in Norway. Emerging as part of a worldwide wave of online-first musicians, she began uploading tracks to SoundCloud in 2023, quickly building a following through her compelling slices of intimate, self-produced indie pop.

Her music blends bedroom-pop textures with understated electronic elements, more often than not with diaristic lyrics and soft, close-mic vocals. Since her debut, she has released several singles, four EPs and a cover playlist, and appears to be an artist who will release a steady stream of output that will allow listeners to chart her development in real time. Her 2024 debut EP, (She a $upastar now), features her best-known track so far, 20 dollars, a concise example of her understated, emotionally direct style. Support comes from Yun Tei, and doors are at 8.30pm.
