Cinema fora de lloc takes the Mostra Internacional de Films de Dones (MIFDB) out into the city’s squares, turning warm evenings into open-air gatherings for queer cinema, community and conversation.

This year’s programme centres films directed and led by LGTBIQ+ voices, expanding the shared imaginaries of queer filmmakers past and present. Highlights include Mar López Zapata’s Siemprevivas, the short-film session Tendresa i revolta queer, Harry Dodge and Silas Howard’s cult road movie By Hook or By Crook, the shorts programme Paròdia i humor lèsbic, and the winning pieces from Cortos en femenino.
