BCNegra 2025
By Charlotte Stace

One of Barcelona’s most beloved literary festivals is back once more for a new edition. BCNegra comes to the stages of La Paloma, the Library Jaume Fuster and Mooby Bosque, where it will host some of this year’s leading crime writers.
Some of the current leading crime writers, such as Donna Leon, Virginia Feito, Xavier Theros and Yrsa Sigurdadóttir will take to the round table for debates and questions. In this way, you, the public, will be able to converse with and get to know some of your favourite crime authors.
In addition to the main events, a variety of parallel activities will take place across the city. Institutions will present their own noir-themed programs, featuring talks, conferences, family-friendly events, screenings, book clubs, and much more. Meanwhile, Barcelona’s libraries will provide reading guides on the participating crime authors. Head over to the event’s website to check out the full programme.
