Cinema Fora de Lloc

An offshoot of the International Women’s Film Festival currently taking place in the city, Cinema Fora de Lloc is an outdoor cinema series that screens films throughout the months of June and July.
It brings a carefully curated selection of films that aim to shine a light specifically on lesbian stories. To this end, it’ll feature films from the 1990s up to the present day that mix the genres of comedy, drama, action and musicals. Each of which come to open our eyes to the different experiences of love, sexuality and gender.
Some of the highlights from this year’s programme include: Bound (1996) directed by Lilly and Lana Wachowski, Itty, Bitty, Titty Committee (2007) directed by Jamie Babbit, and Chuck, Chuck Baby (2023) directed by Janis Pugh. Films will be shown in spaces in Gràcia, Nou Barris and Ciutat Vella. We’ll see you there.
