Cinema Lliure a la Platja 2025
By Charlotte Stace

One of our favourite summer film festivals returns this summer for its 14th edition. The Cinema Lliure crew are back on the beach with a varied selection of long and short films.
The organisers are all about showing that great cinema belongs on the beach, not just in stuffy cinemas full of film buffs. Films under the stars, completely free? It’s a hell yes from us.
Movies kick off around sunset, usually between 9.30pm and 10pm depending on the day, so head down early, roll out your blanket, get stuck into your picnic and soak up those golden hour vibes before the sun sets and the big screen lights up. This year’s lineup includes: Salve Maria (July 17th), Flow (July 24th), Siempre nos quedará mañana (July 31st), and Malu (Aug 7th).
Tip: Arrive early to get a good spot as it's expected to be very busy. Films are shown in their original language with Spanish subtitles.
