D’A Film Festival 2026
By Charlotte Stace

D'A Film Festival - an essential springtime event for fans of contemporary indie and auteur cinema - is back for another edition. It’s a “radar” festival where you can catch international titles, new voices, and the best of Spanish/Catalan indie in the same programme. It runs across major venues including CCCB, Mooby Aribau, Filmoteca de Catalunya and Zumzeig.
The 2026 edition also has big-names coming: Mia Hansen-Løve receives the D’A Award 2026 and appears with a public talk, with the festival spotlighting a major slate of films directed by women.
For a taste of the lineup, festival highlights include: Nuestra tierra (Lucrecia Martel), À pied d’œuvre (Valérie Donzelli), Des preuves d’amour (Alice Douard), and Un altre home (David Moragas), plus shorts such as +10k (Gala Hernández López) and 15 Days Being 15 (Dacio de las Heras).
