Dart Festival 2025
By Charlotte Stace

DART Festival is a film festival that celebrates art through cinema. It represents artists who push boundaries through documentaries about photography, painting, performance, architecture, art curation, and artistic movements - paying special attention to the artists, their creative processes, and the stories behind their work.
The approaches are very diverse: biopics, visual arts projects produced for a specific place or time, exhibitions, or significant events in the history of art, from ancient times to the present day. In parallel, the program includes educational and outreach activities such as talks, exhibitions, Q&As, and debates at Dart LAB.This year’s lineup features films that tell the stories of Agnes Denes, Bêka & Lemoine.
Caravaggio, Joan Miró, Marcel Duchamp, Rem Koolhaas, Wendimagegn Belet, and El Xupet Negre, to name but a few. Above all, the festival is designed as a platform for discovery, giving both emerging and established talents a stage to share art that challenges, inspires and resonates.
