Mostra FRONT, the International Film Festival of Conflict and Peace, returns for its 7th edition, bringing thought-provoking cinema to Catalunya's Terres de l'Ebre region. Taking place across Roquetes, Tortosa and Amposta, the festival uses cinema to explore war, repression, human rights and historical memory, encouraging audiences to reflect on conflicts both past and present.

This year’s programme features around 20 documentaries, feature films and shorts from around the world. Highlights include Amílcar by Miguel Eek, about African anti-colonial leader Amílcar Cabral; Rebel by Anna M. Bofarull, which looks at police violence during Catalunya's 2017 independence referendum; and My Dear Théo by Alisa Kovalenko, offering a personal account of the war in Ukraine. There's also Yrupé by Candela Sotos, which explores exile and the legacy of Francoist repression.

The festival also brings discussions, educational activities and professional events, while acclaimed filmmaker Pere Portabella receives the 2026 FRONT honorary recognition.
