This newly released film by longtime collaborators David Austin and Andy Morahan captures the singer at a defining moment in his career, performing at Paris’s Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in May 1988. Recently rediscovered footage, shot over two nights using 14 cameras on 35mm film, has been painstakingly restored and remastered to make a sumptuous feature-length concert film that brings to life Michael’s first major solo tour.

The tour, in support of his multi-million-selling debut album, Faith, was a global phenomenon that comprised more than 100 concerts across 16 countries. The setlist includes solo hits including Faith, Father Figure, Careless Whisper and Monkey, and many Wham! Favourites. The film opens with Finding Faith, a short by Mary McCartney featuring previously unseen photographs by Herb Ritts, archival footage and an unheard interview with Michael. A spellbinding time capsule of late-Eighties pop and a globe-conquering artist coming into his own.
