Here's a quiet road-trip drama from debut feature director Cole Webley that explores grief, family and resilience through the eyes of two young siblings. After a devastating upheaval, a father (played by the wonderful John Magaro or Past Lives and September 5) takes his children on an unexpected journey across the American West, during which the trio gradually reveal the emotional burdens they each carry. This beautifully made film unfolds through small moments, understated performances and evocative landscapes that mirror its characters' inner lives.

Premiering at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, Omaha was praised for its compassion and emotional authenticity. Magaro's performance is quietly affecting as he struggles to shield his children Ella (Molly Belle Wright) and her younger brother Charlie (Wyatt Solis) while grappling with his own despair. A moving portrait of loss, love and fragile hope.
