El Palace Hotel, established in 1919, stands as one of Barcelona's most historic and luxurious establishments. Throughout its history, it has been a hub of art, culture and gastronomy. The hotel has graced the silver screen numerous times and has hosted film legends such as John Wayne, Anita Ekberg, Sean Connery, Sophia Loren and Gina Lollobrigida.
In celebration of its cinematic history, El Palace brings back its annual Open Air Rooftop Cinema series this summer to its Rooftop Garden. The 2025 lineup features a selection of films. Screenings include: Pretty Woman, Top Gun, Mamma Mia!, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Each screening includes fresh popcorn and a Grey Goose cocktail. Films are presented in their original versions with Spanish subtitles. An added bonus: the Rooftop Garden offers amazing panoramic views of the city making it the perfect summer evening out.
