Though it has existed since 2021, the global film event Queer Cinema for Palestine in its current form came from a pledge made by more than 300 queer filmmakers "not to screen at the pinkwashing, Israeli government-sponsored TLVFest, in response to calls from Palestin­ian queers. Queer Cinema for Palestine 2026 – No Pride in Genocide is taking place during Pride Month around the world, and Zumzeig is one of the cinemas holding a screening.

The 90-minute programme consists of six short films: A Message (2026), directed by Mama Ganuush; Ceasefire (2025), directed by Teodor Vladár; The 5-Year Plan for Financial Independence (2025), directed by Dua Omari; Until We Return (2025); We Will Haunt Your Archive (2026); and Sorry (2024), directed by John Greyson.
