+RAIN film fest

The +RAIN Film Festival, hosted by the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, is Europe's pioneering event dedicated to films created using artificial intelligence. Across four days, the festival focuses on new creative practices, experimentation and the integration of generative AI into audiovisual and cinema.
The festival features three main sections: RESEARCH, which brings a series of talks on the future of AI in digital content creation; FEST, which screens a selection of AI-generated films; and LIVE, which presents audiovisual performances developed by AI.
The event also includes talks and presentations by local and international experts from a range of fields, who offer insights into the ever-evolving relationship between AI and artistic creation. This festival serves as a poignant reminder of how AI is transforming the future of cinema and art, and presents a bold vision of what the future of creativity will look like.
