Susanna serves at the counter of Climax Susanna, her small neighborhood sex shop on Carrer de València near the Sagrada Família. It cites over three decades of experience and belongs to Botigues de Catalunya, the association of Catalan independent shops. The shop describes itself as a safe, discreet space for enjoying sexuality fully and healthily, with personal advice for each customer. The range runs from lingerie and costumes to toys, intimate cosmetics and aphrodisiac and massage oils. Susanna also runs “Tupper Sex” home parties – private product sessions for groups of friends or celebrations, intended to be both fun and educational. Its reviews come in Spanish, Catalan, English and French.
She opens from 10:30am to 1:30pm, then returns for a short evening stretch from 5pm to 8:30pm, Monday to Friday. Saturday shopping is a morning affair here. The shop closes on Saturday afternoons and Sundays.
