Sandra runs The Luxury Love on Carrer de les Basses de Sant Pere, where the small sex shop has traded since at least 2014. She stocks lingerie and outfits for parties and themed nights, and the women who work with her talk frankly about what they sell. The quiet street in Sant Pere is a short walk from Santa Caterina market and the Palau de la Música.
Despite the name, it isn’t priced like a luxury shop. Sandra stocks toys from established brands alongside intimate cosmetics, lubricants, condoms and other sexual-health items, and the shop calls advice its strong point. It opens Monday to Saturday, midday and evening, and closes on Sundays.
