Art & Coffee Oil Painting Workshop

Summer plans don’t always have to involve partying and socialising. Sometimes it’s nice to take the opportunity to slow down, get creative and enjoy something a bit off the beaten track. This workshop (run by Art Collective Barcelona) offers a more serious - but still very relaxed - introduction to oil painting. Hosted inside a working city atelier, it swaps the classic paint-and-sip art events, for coffee, conversation and three hours spent actually learning how to paint.
Classically trained artist Tan, also the founder of ACB, will guide the group through colour theory, mixing pigments, sketching a composition and building up light and shadow on canvas. She studied at the Barcelona Academy of Art and has taught more than 200 students, so complete beginners are very much welcome. Come solo or with a friend, drink something caffeinated and leave with a canvas.
