The concept behind 4444 by The Sound Society is deliciously simple and highly compelling: one artist, a four-hour set, and no more than 400 people on the dancefloor, a simple and intimate environment where attendees are invited to "arrive early, dance with eyes closed, and experience the power of music that unfolds without rush or distraction", with the (considerable) help of a custom-built 14kW sound system. 

Sounds like heaven to us, and with the concept on just its third outing here, you'll still be able to say you were in on the ground floor if Friday's your first experience of it. This edition brings by far the biggest name yet to play at 4444 in CC:DISCO, a hugely charismatic and charming selector with a sound that pivots on disco, house and boogie, and who is perfectly placed to take full advantage of 4444's extended-set format.
