The Los Angeles-based composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Adrian Younge, brings his new music to El Molino. Known for his fusion of soul, jazz, funk and psychedelia, he’s managed to carve out a unique space in contemporary music, where vintage meets the modern.

Founder of the label Linear Labs and co-creator of the Jazz Is Dead series, he’s collaborated with icons like Roy Ayers, João Donato and Ali Shaheed Muhammad. He’s also worked in the realms of film and TV, with original scores for Luke Cage, Raising Kanan, and Sugar. In 2021, he released the album The American Negro, as well as produced the podcast "Invisible Blackness". Both projects were launched during Black History Month and seek to highlight the systemic racism that African Americans have endured.

He now presents Something About April III (2025), the final installment in his acclaimed Brazilian-inspired trilogy exploring the evolution of psychedelic soul. Accompanied by a ten-piece orchestra, this performance is not one to miss.
