South African rhythms meet Barcelona’s unparalleled summer energy at AFRODANZ, an open-air celebration built around Afro house and amapiano. Local selectors NIIXII and Sofia Pineda join the line-up, but the major draw is identical-twin duo Major League DJz.

The brothers Bandile and Banele Mbere began throwing parties in Johannesburg before becoming DJs and producers themselves, initially blending hip-hop with kwaito before embracing amapiano. Albums Pianochella, What’s the Levol and Outside came next, while their hugely popular Balcony Mix series helped carry their South African sound to an international audience. Their trajectory has since included collaborations with Major Lazer and appearances at Coachella.
