Ana Lua Caiano strives to blend tradition with innovation in her music, fusing her Portuguese heritage with modern electronics. Using synthesisers, drum machines and field recordings, she reinterprets folk traditions with a contemporary twist.

Recognised as one of Portugal’s most promising new artists, Ana has now performed on major national and international stages, with the acclaimed EPs Cheguei Tarde a Ontem and Se Dançar é Só Depois. After appearances at prestigious showcase festivals like WOMEX, BIME Bilbao and Les Trans Musicales, she now embarks on a brand new journey with her debut album, Vou Ficar Neste Quadrado (2024).

Her Barcelona concert at Sala Apolo is part of Liveurope, a pan-European initiative supporting emerging artists, co-founded by the EU’s Creative Europe programme. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to witness a rising star redefining Portuguese music.
