Austra (the electro-pop project fronted by Canadian singer, composer and producer Katie Stelmanis) comes to La Nau with a set that leans into their glossy, art-pop edge, where gothic drama, new-wave shimmer and dancefloor hits all meet.

Formed in Toronto in 2009, Austra is composer/producer Stelmanis’ ever-evolving project, built with rotating collaborators and a taste for reinvention (the lineup has included Maya Postepski (drums), Dorian Wolf (bass, Moog), and Ryan Wonsiak (keyboards)). The breakthrough album Feel It Break (2011) put them on international radar (and onto major prize shortlists), then Olympia (2013) sharpened their emotional edge.
