Hosted at the cosy Backstory English Bookshop, this event invites readers to bring their current favourite, long-awaited or newly purchased book and simply read together in a shared, peaceful space.
The first hour is dedicated to quiet reading, letting you sink into your story alongside fellow bibliophiles, while the second hour opens the door to conversation. You can swap thoughts about your book, discover new recommendations, and chat with other readers in a welcoming environment. It’s a great way to meet new people, support a local independent bookshop and celebrate the joy of reading.
The best bit? It’s totally free (first-come, first-served up to 50 people), and perfect for both locals and visitors who want to connect over stories.
