BAM Festival 2025

The 2025 edition of BAM - Barcelona Acció Musical, part of the La Mercè festivities, delivers a free programme of music across Barcelona, showcasing both emerging and established artists from over 20 countries. Organisers of the festival aim to present a selection of acts that align with BAM’s core goal: a desire to explore new sounds and aesthetics, and give a voice to a range of communities that have been previously overlooked.
With more than one 100 concerts staged at 14 sites, the event emphasises diversity of genre, culture, gender and origins. Traditional music rubs shoulders with pop and electro, while urban sounds coexist alongside folk and experimental forms.
This is one of the biggest musical celebrations in the Catalan calendar - a must-see for anyone spending time in Barcelona in September.
