Join hundreds who are coming together to enjoy the Barcelona International Jazz Day which is part of the celebrations to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Passeig de Gràcia.

This Jazz Day will showcase the universality of jazz and its ability to touch the souls of people worldwide. There will be around 10 hours of music with six groups that represent the diversity of jazz. Not only will some of the artists come from the acclaimed Barcelona jazz scene (including an opening concert dedicated to children), but also musicians from South Africa, Brazil, the United States and the United Kingdom.

The day will kick off with the Sant Andreu Dixie Band, a formation born within the Sant Andreu Jazz Band that reinterprets the jazz of its origins, from New Orleans to swing. Later, there will be performances from the likes of Joan Mar Sauqué, Nduduzo Makhathini and Michael League, among others.
