Magic Mountain's Barcelona Psych Fest has built a stellar reputation for both programming and atmosphere over the years, and this year's edition looks like the best yet. Going down over three days, the festival is split into a warm-up event at the wonderful Sants co-op cinema Zumzeig on Thursday, a big Friday-night lineup at Parallel 62, and then two events on Saturday: a day event at Sala Upload and grand finale back at Parallel 62 at night.

At Zumzeig on Thursday, Barcelona Psych Cult will kick the festival off, while the following night's bill at Parallel 62 is headlined by Michael Rother, playing works by his legendary former bands Neu! and Harmonia, as well as solo pieces. Deadletter, New Candys, Glyders and Magick Brother & Magick Sister all play sets before Rother. Saturday day at Sala Upload features live shows from Derya Yıldırım & Grup Şimşek and Salvana. Modern psych heroes Altin Gün headline Saturday night at Parallel 62, and Nothing, Gift, Fomies and Hollow Ship also play. Weekend and individual event tickets are still available from Dice.
