Bby Eco
By Kit Macdonald

Through his Bby Eco project, Amsterdam's Joris Benjamins transforms personal experience and the relationship with nature into elemental and evocative soundscapes, where the organic and the imaginary coexist. Emerging from the Dutch underground electronic scene in the early 2020s, the project blends ambient sound design, downtempo rhythms and fragile pop structures into music that feels intimate, melancholic and slightly disorienting.
Albums such as 2021's Grow! (2021), 2023's O2O, and this year's Sky (i) have connected specifically and deliberately with an audience seeking to re-immerse themselves with nature in an increasingly artificial environment, and his live shows are very much for people looking to do the same. Doors are at 8.30pm and support comes from Aira Sans, who will present a preview of his upcoming live electronic audiovisual project from 9pm. Bby Eco is on at 10pm.
