Grab your dancing shoes and get ready to dance October away. Across three dance-packed days, the Barcelona Shag Festival returns with a brand spanking new edition.

The shag is a type of swing dance that originated during the early 1930s in America. A quick, fun and social dance, it’s remained popular amongst fans of old school swing styles over the years. The Barcelona Shag Festival is the only dedicated event to the shag across Europe, attracting hundreds of dancers from all over. This year, it’ll be held across a range of venues in the city including the Aliança theatre, Casa del Son, and Ilunion.

Across the duration of the festival, there’ll be workshops and classes (for beginners through to professionals), as well as parties, vermouth evenings, quizzes and much more. Get your tickets now.
