Black Lips

The American garage rock band Black Lips comes to Sala Apolo this Friday 26th!
Formed in Atlanta, Georgia in 1999, the band consists of Cole Alexander (vocals, guitar), Jared Swilley (vocals, bass guitar), Oakley Munson (drums), Zumi Rosow (saxophone), and Jeff Clarke (vocals, guitar). The band's debut full-length album, ‘Black Lips!’, was released on Bomp! Records in 2003. Following this, the group shot to fame and began touring around America and the rest of the world. Now they come to Barcelona to perform music from their ninth studio album 'Sing In A World That's Falling Apart' on the 24th January 2020 with Fire Records.
As infamous for their R-rated stage antics (from setting off fireworks while performing to setting their instruments on fire) as their music, their garage sounds, southern accents and bluesy undertones are something to celebrate this weekend!
