Barcelona’s hotly anticipated Black Music Festival is back for a brand new edition, celebrating Afro-American music around the world. This is one of the city’s best annual music events and brings together a diverse lineup of artists spanning genres like soul, blues, funk, hip-hop and reggae.

Running across February and March, the festival will feature performances from major national and international artists in black music. It will kick off at Sala Apolo with a performance from Annie & The Caldwells on February 13^th. Some of this year’s highlights include The Otis Reading Show (February 14^th), Vincen García (February 21^st), Alex Lambert (March 1^st), Hip Hop al Parc (March 15^th), and Koko-Jean & The Tonics (March 21st).

As in previous years, the festival will be split across a number of venues not only in Barcelona but across Catalunya.
