Brigitte Calls Me Baby bring their dramatic alt-rock to Sala Apolo. The Chicago quintet is led by singer Wes Leavins and also consists of guitarist Jack Fluegel, bassist Devin Wessels, and drummer Jeremy Benshish. Bizarrely, their name comes from Leavins' experience of writing a letter to Brigitte Bardot for a high school assignment. 

Their debut album The Future Is Our Way Out came in 2024, following the EP This House Is Made of Corners. Songs like “Impressively Average,” “Eddie My Love,” “Fine Dining,” “We Were Never Alive” and “Pink Palace” show their talent for blending pop melodrama with the early-2000s guitar music. Their musical style was described by SPIN as "a smattering of upbeat new wave-style synths, jangly post-punk guitar and tight, punchy arrangements". Now touring following the release of follow-up album Irreversible (2026), they arrive with a sound that’s even bigger.
