Óscar Alfonso Castro - better known by his stage name Caloncho - has become one of the biggest voices in contemporary Latin music. He blends tropical rhythms with indie pop and folk influences to create a unique, sun-soaked sound.
Across his career, the musician has released a series of acclaimed albums and EPs, from the early Fruta (2013) and Malvadisco (2021) to more recent projects like Bálsamo (2017) and TOFU (2024). He’s also had the chance to collaborate with fellow Mexican artists, including Mon Laferte and Sabino, as well as play some of the biggest stages and venues around the world.
