Sala Apolo’s AFERS concert series brings together emerging talent from Barcelona and Europe. Each event pairs two artists sharing a musical genre, giving audiences the chance to discover new voices within the contemporary music scene.
Carlota Flâneur, a Barcelona-based singer-songwriter, began her career in 2020 with the EP “Brains”. Her albums Uncertainty (2022) and What My Body Wants (2025) further define her musical universe. In 2024, she dropped the hit single “Relate” - a collab with Marta Knight and produced by Núria Graham—that brought in drum machines and layers of synths, weaving together the voices of three like-minded Catalan artists.
Mina Okabe has captivated a global audience with her diary-like pop songs, earning over 500 million plays. Selected as a Spotify Radar Artist and Apple Music Artist to Follow, she has performed at major festivals worldwide, including Roskilde, Seoul Jazz Festival, Summer Sonic, and SXSW, and was recognized as ‘New Artist of the Year’ at the Japan Gold Disc Awards 2024.
