Sometimes it's difficult to remember that Perros Mediterraneos – or just Perros, as it's universally known – hasn't always been there. Somehow, though, the two-floor bar, restaurant and record store only landed in its Poble Sec-adjacent corner of Eixample in 2021. Now also a record label and natural wine brand, the Perros juggernaut is only gaining momentum with each passing year, as this huge fifth-birthday party, the first event of a new residency at the Barcelona offshoot of East London's much-loved Village Underground club, should ably demonstrate.

The event (and the residency) is a co-production with Chez Doc, Perros' sister record label and collective. It will be a day-night affair across two stages, including the new L'Hospitalet de Llobregat venue's outdoor terrace. German DJ Vera and Canadian Moaad BKR headline, with and there will also be sets from Heels & Souls, Lumiere, Mr FortyFour and residents Vikk and Perro Jimbo.
