Clutch 2026
By Charlotte Stace

CLUTCH bring their no-nonsense, riff-heavy rock to Sala Apolo with the confidence of a band that has spent more than three decades performing around the world for a fiercely loyal following. Formed in Germantown, Maryland, in 1991, the quartet - Neil Fallon, Tim Sult, Dan Maines and Jean-Paul Gaster - have become cult favourites by ignoring trends and doing exactly their own thing.
Their sound is a mix of many genres including stoner rock, hard rock, blues, funk and Southern-fried groove, with Fallon’s sharp storytelling giving the songs an extra bite. Across albums including Blast Tyrant, Earth Rocker, Psychic Warfare and Sunrise on Slaughter Beach, they’ve turned heavy riffs into something loose and weirdly addictive.
After sharing the stage with big names such as Slayer, Mastodon and System Of A Down, the band continues to prove that authentic rock doesn’t age, it grows stronger.
