CocoRosie 2025
By Charlotte Stace

The sister duo of Bianca and Sierra Casady, CocoRosie have been redefining the musical avant-garde for two decades. Their debut album, La Maison de Mon Rêve (2004), was recorded in Sierra’s Paris bathroom using toy instruments and lo-fi gear. Though initially intended only for friends, its unconventional sound caught the attention of Touch and Go Records, launching their career.
Seven studio albums later, and collaborations with the likes of Devendra Banhart and Antony, they’re experimental pop has earned them fans around the world. Now, they’re on the road again with their new album, Little Death Wishes (2025). With this record they tell, with tenderness and brutality, stories about women’s generational struggles, the difficulties of love and the transformation of suffering into wisdom.
