Mexican-American producer Delia Beatriz, aka Debit, makes electronic music that is both physically propulsive and intellectually expansive. Based for years in New York’s underground club scene, Beatriz blends reggaeton rhythms, industrial abrasion, ambient haziness and fractured dancehall into tracks that constantly oscillate between tension and release. Her acclaimed albums and DJ sets pull from a wide range of sounds – Latin club music, experimental electronics, field recordings and politically charged sound art – while remaining intensely rhythmic.

Her 2022 album The Long Count explored themes of colonialism, technology and Indigenous histories through dense, immersive production, and this show is part of a tour to promote her third LP, last year's Desaceleradas, released, as was its predecessor, on the Modern Love imprint. Expect intense visual as well as aural delights at this live A/V show.
