The name Dengue Dengue Dengue! might conjure grim images of tropical disease but in Peru the word "dengue" has a far happier slang meaning: it's the feeling you get before you head to the party. Rafael Pereira and Felipe Salmon have been living up to their adopted name for well over a decade now, during which they have been expertly blending modern electronics with Latin American instrumentation and musical traditions to create a style that has been labelled global bass, cumbia digital, tropical bass and a thousand variations on these terms. Whatever you call it though, their live shows are legendary, and go off in a hail of irresistible percussion and intoxicating melody.

Support downstairs at Apolo (in the Astin room) comes from Meth Math (live) and Phran. Do note that the Nitsa and Astin rooms at Apolo have separate entrances and will not be connected on Friday night - access to each of them requires a different ticket. The lineup upstairs in Nitsa includes a live set from LA ÉLITE and DJ sets from VVV and Meritxell De Soto.
