Don’t miss the Dusan Jevtovic Blues Band at Jamboree Jazz Club this month. Led by Dusan Jevtovic himself on the guitar and vocals, he’ll be accompanied by fellow jazz musicians Bernat Hernandez on bass, Arecio Smith on keyboards, and Eloi Lopez on drums.
A virtuoso, Jevtovic is an acclaimed guitarist internationally and is known for his electric presence on stage. After some solo work and parts in other jazz bands, he now leads a new quartet alongside some of the finest jazz musicians based in Barcelona. This group brings a repertoire that revives the legendary sounds of blues pioneers such as Robert Johnson, Charley Patton, Son House and Muddy Waters.
Together, the Dusan Jevtovic Blues Band reimagines the music of these classics with a modern touch, injecting a generous dose of funk, energy and rhythm into each note.
