Isaiah Mitchell (guitar), Mike Eginton (bass) and Mario Rubalcaba (drums) formed Earthless in San Diego in 2001 and took four years to record their debut album, but it was well worth the wait. Sonic Prayer is a colossal piece of work and was long ago accepted as part of the psych-rock canon, and the 20th anniversary of its release is part of the reason for their current tour, which takes in three Spanish dates, in Barcelona, Portugalete and Madrid.

Earthless's live shows are raw, intense and utterly cosmic, the three using the near-telepathy that comes from nearly a quarter of a century of playing together to craft some of the most genuinely transporting jams you'll have the chance to witness live anywhere. Vancouver's Heavy Trip will bring psychedelia, doom blues and retro hard rock to their support slot. They're on at 8pm and Earthless take to the stage at 9pm.
