Festival de la Infància 2024
By Charlotte Stace
The Barcelona Children's Festival (Festival de la Infancia) returns for another exciting edition. Since its debut in 1963, this beloved event has drawn in around 100,000 visitors annually, featuring 170 activities and 95 participants spread across 11 acres of fun and learning.
Children can look forward to an array of engaging games, creative workshops and sports activities, while discovering the value of solidarity and exploring the worlds of art, culture and technology. The festival offers a unique opportunity to instill essential values like healthy eating, respect for animals and care for the environment in an enjoyable and inspiring setting.
This year, the festival welcomes its new Gastronomy Space, a space specifically designed for children and families to enjoy interactive and educational culinary experiences. What’s more, as usual, there’ll be the Solidarity Toy Shop, where you’ll find donated toys from different brands for children to play with and enjoy.
