This one’s for the folk and indie fans out there. Set over two evenings, Festival Feroe at Poble Espanyol offers an intimate live-music experience with a carefully curated lineup of six international acts who bring their folk, roots, pop and Americana to the city.

So, who’s playing? The opening night features Swedish troubadour The Tallest Man on Earth, whose poetic folk and acoustic energy have earned comparisons to Dylan; alt-country pioneers The Jayhawks, blending roots rock with Americana; and The Weather Station, the Canadian project of Tamara Lindeman, acclaimed for its elegant art-folk.

The following night sees British new-wave legends Squeeze, best known for hits like” Up the Junction” and “Tempted”; veteran songwriter Nick Lowe performing with surf-rock group Los Straitjackets; and Tennessee’s Valerie June, whose mix of folk, blues and gospel comes to close the festival.

Tickets are still on sale, but likely to sell out fast. Make sure to get yours now.
